Focusing on the "Then and Now" of farming, agriculture and rural living, the constantly changing displays will keep you coming back again and again. Many events throughout the year tie in with our exhibits to bring the community and visitors together to learn about the days gone by and what's happening in rural communities of Michigan today. Click on the Community Events button to see an overview of this year's schedule.

Hours & Fees: The Coopersville Farm Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, member-based organization. Members receive free or reduced rates. See the Hours, Admission, Contacts page or scroll to bottom of page for current rates. Seasonal Hours and Fees vary. Please call ahead before scheduling travel. Special events (like the annual Quilt Show) may have special admission fee(s). Workshops and/or lectures may also incur additional charges. Please inquire ahead.

Built to honor the history of farming and dedicated to the memory of Peter Hanenburg, the Coopersville Farm Museum serves as an anchor in the Historic Downtown area of the city. The 12,000 square-foot facility displays rotating agricultural related exhibits, contrasting old versus new, and showcases the John Deere collection of Ed Hanenburg, the man behind the museum. The interactive museum exhibits will be of interest to all ages bringing history to life. The museum is open all year but hours vary by season. Call or drop us an email for information on current hours, exhibits & events. Arrangements can be made for group tours, meetings, birthday parties, and special events. Consider rental of this exquisite facility for wedding receptions, meetings & other catered events.

Spring to Fall Hours (Apr - Oct)
Tuesday - Saturday    10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Winter Hours (Nov - Mar)
Tuesday - Saturday    10:00 am ­ 2:00 pm

Also open for special events and groups by reservation. Hours vary by season, please call to verify. Closed all major holidays.

GENERAL ADMISSION - $4 per person; Members Free; Seniors (65+) $3; Student (3-18) $2; Children (under 3) Free ~ group rates and additional fees apply for special events.

Group Rates: $3 / $2 Students
Tours, Groups or Field Trips with advance reservations

Jam Night Admission: $4 / Members Free

Crazy Quilting Circle Admission: $4 / Members Free

Quilts and Their Stories Admission: Same as General Admission

*Fee schedule effective January 1, 2008. There may be fees associated with workshops or special guest lectures. Coopersville Farm Museum Members receive reduced or waived admission fees and reduced workshop rates. Call to receive a membership information packet.

The Coopersville Farm Museum is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible according to IRS regulations. Please contact your tax advisor to determine the deductibility according to your particular situation.
