ECLIPSE Windmill.
An addition to the permanent (exterior) collection at the Coopersville Farm Museum was completed in July 2010. The Boon Family of Grand Haven, MI donated this vintage windmill to the Coopersville Farm Museum. Volunteers have spent many long hours restoring it. The windmill was moved from the Boon family farm on Green Street in Robinson Township to the museum October 28, 2009. It spent the winter being restored by volunteers with the final piece being a part to ensure the brake would stop the mill if it got spinning too fast. The frame was mounted on poured concrete foundations in the fall of 2009 and the restored mill and feather were replaced atop the tower on July 8, 2010. Photos of the transfer and renovations can be found on the Farm Museum's Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Art Jacob’s first art instructor was Charles Schultz (before he gained fame with his “Peanuts” cartoon). Schultz inspired Jacobs in grade school and ignited a passion that has continued all his life.
Mr. Jacob is a member of Grand Valley Artists and Transparent Watercolor Society of America.
Jacobs worked for large publishing houses in Kansas City and Grand Rapids where he created more than 200 book covers including ones for June Carter Cash, Terry Bradshaw, and the Detroit Pistons.
Art opened his own art studio for a few years, and has had two gallery showings out west, and is represented in many private collections. Art Jacobs is currently devoting much of his time to watercolors.
