New Life for Old Sewing Machines
Bring old sewing machines to the Coopersville Farm Museum during August and September. Drop-off times are Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:00am-1:00pm.
Donated machines will be given to Family Sewing to be reconditioned and used in local and international community development ministries.
Donations are tax deductible, and you will be treated to one free visit to “Quilts and their Stories,” the Farm Museum’s annual quilt show.

QUILT RAFFLE FUNDRAISER
Two raffles ~ A Quilt give away and Quilter's Supplies give away.
Quilt Raffle ~ 1st and 2nd prize winners receive a quilt made with Jane Sassaman fabric; 3rd prize is a colorful crib quilt and matching pillow.
Quilter's Raffle ~ 1st prize is a Husqvarna Viking Emerald 183 Sewing Machine; 2nd prize is a 96 piece set of coordinating fat quarters from Fons & Porter (BERNATEX Past & Present line); 3rd prize is 40 flannel fat quarters from Fons & Porter (BERNATEX Savannah line).
Drawing will be held at the 5th Tuesday concert at 9pm. |

QUILTS AND THEIR STORIES SCHEDULE
Show Dates: August 5 -- Sept. 30, 2008
Hours: Tuesdays 10 am - 8 pm (August & September only)
Wednesday through Saturday 10 am - 4 pm
Closed Sunday, Monday & Major Holidays
Fees: General Admission $4; Seniors $3; Students $2; CFM Members & children under 3 ~ FREE
Quilt workshops require
pre-registration and fees vary for kits with patterns (see current Quilt
Show Flyer for registration form and list of classes
and related fees).
